CURRENT SPACES

2019

About

The spatial painting composed of works on paper, acrylic on canvas, wooden, plastic and textile elements called "Current Spaces" is a sort of continuation of the idea presented in 2017 called "Regeneration".

It is an exhibition where the entire floor surface is covered with various parts of materials previously processed in the drawing. The parts were placed in an organized manner every day for the duration of the exhibition. The central part of the exhibition space was the backbone of the work and at the same time the highest point. Ultimately, this spatial drawing became a kind of chronological presentation of the collection and processing of all its parts.

The chaos of visually extremely interesting details is in a strange way resolved in the graceful whole. This time too, as in Observatory and Renewing, the artist deliberately and perspicuously makes use of the horror vacui effect. Her microcosm here merges with the all-encompassing macrocosm, and the dialectic of shattered and constructed forms finds a synthesis in the act of incessant renewal and creation.
